    I've been running into a frequent issue where I start a game and when it comes to the start screen, such as Press A to start, the controller buttons are not working. Quiting the game and relaunching doesn't resolve the issue. The only fix is to restart the console. It seems to affect title screens where pressing A launches the OS profile sign in.

    I have reported this from the console, but haven't seen a mention of the issue in the release notes.

    I DID IT. Had trouble for weeks trying to sign in trying all different suggestions, THIS WORKED INSTANTLY. While at the Start game screen while cars are whizzing everywhere, hold down the connect controller button on your xbox and sync button on your controller
    (while already signed in), and soon as it reconnects hit start game. Worked instantly like nothing happened lol. Hope this works for people.

    I log into my account for a few seconds all my controller buttons work then they quit working and the game or home screen that I'm on will start bouncing or shaking. I've used different controllers and different Xbox consoles and it still happens.

    Do you have any other controllers connected to your xbox (Big Button controllers, Guitar controller etc). If you do unplug them, sometimes that can cause games and demos not to work properly on the start screen.
