Controller buttons not working in netflix

I am still having this problem, controller works until it goes to sleep then when I awaken the controller no buttons work to control Netflix. The controller still works to get to Xbox home and functions fine in the menu, just not Netflix. Please help.

Its not the hardware controller that's the problem... its the app controller that allows you to control Netflix from within the Xbox and smartglass app. The "a" touch button and scrolling do not work. The physical hardware Xbox controller works fine.

Same problem, A button / scroll no longer works on Netflix -- thought it was locked up, but controller works fine. Voice commands are heard and displayed in the upper left, but don't function.

Ok, here's two things to try.

1. Highlight Netflix on your Home screen then press the Start button on the controller and choose Quit. Wait 30 seconds and try loading it again.

2. Hold the power button on the console until it shuts down.

Either of those options should work to get you back up and watching Netflix again.

I've also got a wireless controller and it's not working, relying on the kinect to control it. I spent half an hour on the phone with Netflix support (Monday) and was told would get a call back within 48 hours, next time I turned on my xbox it worked and
on Friday, it just stopped working again. And no call from Netflix support (but at least I know I'm not alone).

EDIT - just noticed that somebody plugged in the guitar controller, unplugged it and <BAM> the buttons work again. So woot, it works, but still very strange.
