    I am required to have my controller turned on for games that don't require a controller.

    Why was such a prompt even added to console? If I needed a controller to play, I would clearly notice given that I would not be able to play.

    So far I've noticed this for COD: Vanguard and Fortnite.

    Is this the right place to address this bug? I hope it gets resolved as I am forced to plug my controller in at all times.

    Soulcalibur V. With the exception of Viola being ridiculously strong and Zwei being unnecessarily weak the rest of the cast is mostly balanced. The fighting rewards active defense more so than an other fighting game out.

    THIS IS THE ANSWER!

    I also have a day one edition controller and my rumble quit working while playing Forza 5. I thought I had a defective controller also, but I replaced my batteries and it works like day one.

    The controller turns off the rumble to preserve battery power when it gets low.

    Hope this helps people so they dont send it back to MS unnecessarily.

    D-pad issues with NEW (3.5mm) Xbox One controller

    I've noticed that the d-pad will only work 100% of the time if you press it unnecessarily hard, but if you do regular taps, like on the normal Xbox One controller it won't registrar the taps.
