Controller becoming unresponsive

After a few minutes my controller becomes unresponsive and will not control my X box one x.

1) rebooting the console fixes it

2) pushing the sync button on the controller then pulling the battery out then back in seems to fix it sometimes.

Anyone else having controller issues?

Can I send my controller in for repair?

The left thumbstick is becoming a little unresponsive sometimes.

 

New Xbox one Controller D pad issues

I just bought the covert forces controller and I'm experiencing the same issue. The d pad is unresponsive. I'm currently in possession of the controller and retail packaging, and it's still unresponsive.

 

Hey my friend. same here. most of the time i cant even connect the controller to the box. if i put in the cable it works perfect. today i hard rebootet everything and connectet fine. after some houres i turned it on via wireless controller but once inside
the dashboard....connection gone.....

Can you test this with more than one controller? If possible try the controller on another console as well. Let us know the results! If you find that controllers are continually not working with the X then perhaps try to exchange at the retailer you purchased
it from.

 

I'm having the same issues, used my Elite controller form my other Xbox and it works fine, just my Xbox One X controller acting up, hope someone or Microsoft has a fix.

 

Same issue here just the one x controller has the issue, my elite and other controller seem to work fine.

 

had this once or twice. dont think It was the controller as xbox blanked me.. had to do a power pull to reset anyway during the issues i was going through at the time anyway.

 

So for sure the controller played find for multiple hours with old controller but as soon as I turn one the project scorpio controller start having issues. It will become unresponsive within a few minutes, 8f i leave it alone starts responding again after
a few minutes but become unresponsive if I try to use it. Any update if this will be fixible by patch? Or do I need to request replacement.

 

have you tried plugging the controller into the XB1X and updating the firmware?

I finally just filed a open ticket and they are sending me a new one, once they receive mine. Good thing i can still play with my elite controller. Obviously this is a widespread problem, at least our game consoles didn't die like
others.

 

Yes and it actually happens while the controller is connected via usb so leaning toward defective.

 

im having this issue as well. Controller becomes unresponsive and i have to pull the batteries out. Tried updaing the controller through the settings but still freezes. Elite controller works fine.

 

Xbox one x Scorpio

Controller keeps losing sync with console.

To fix I need to remove batteries and then re insert them and turn on controller.

Tested normal Xbox one controller for 24h and can not replicate fault.

I did not pay £450 for a faulty product.

Had 2 Xbox 360 with ring of death

Had 1 Xbox one die after 13months

Can you move production to a country that can produce decent quality goods and not this cheap Chinese crap

 

My controller does this as well. Other controllers work fine, it's just my Project Scorpio edition controller that came with the X. Pretty big bummer.
