    Controller aux not working wirelessly


    Hello i have an xbox one v2 wireless controller and only use it with my windows 10 laptop.

    when i plug my controller into my laptopn via usb, the aux on my controller works fine.
    The issue occurs when i connect to my laptop using bluetooth. The controller works just fine but with my headset plugged into the controller there is no sound at all and it does not show up under sound devices either.

    I have searched around for a solution but i cannot seem to find one. I have tried updating the firmware on my controller but it did not help.

    Xbox 360 wired controller not working in windows 10?

    With the Xbox 360 controller, it only sent data wirelessly. The charging cable was only used to charge rechargeable batteries on the controller, and does not send data over the wire for the controller. You would need the Xbox 360 wireless controller
    adapter (usb dongle) to connect. If the 360 controller was wired natively then that would work, but the default controllers only worked wirelessly.

    No but I was able to get them to work via the aux cord into the controller. Not really the answer you're looking for, but I dont mind doing it that way

    Can you connect a Bluetooth Headset to Xbox One S controller

    It will not work for headsets.

    The Bluetooth capabilities are for connecting the controller to a PC wirelessly.
