    Controller and Turtle Beach headphone issue


    Hi everyone. OK so I'm puzzled. My sons Turtle Beach headphones wont work with his controller.

    We have tried a different set of working Turtle Beach headphones with his controller and they wont work.

    However we have also tried his own headphones with his brothers working controller and they wont work on there either.

    This would indicate that the controller and the headphones are broken which seems strange that they would break at the exact same time?

    Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Controllers

    The headphone jacks of the controllers fail often. I switched to the chat pad accessory (mine is a turtle beach one) and I haven't had issues since.

    Are you using the turtle beach chat adapter or plugging the headphones directly into the controller?

    Not headphones, the controller plug is smaller and used for chat, headphones won't fit. My 360 Turtle beach headset gets its game audio from the TV too.
