    it seems that the game has been installed in 2 different drives. You can try to disconnect one of this 2 drive (if one is the internal you have to disconnect the external one, of course) and see if one of the game disappears. If yes, you can choose which
    one to keep and delete the other one.

    I'm playing on a PC, this isn't a Forza issue, it's a Windows/Firmware/Compatibility issue, the controller disconnects even if i'm not in any games.
    A lot of people have this issues on PC, for some it works fine in some games, and in others it keeps getting disconnected, and for most it just disconnects regardless of game or not.

    It's been an issue since Xbox One controllers, and day Series X

    Do not uninstall from the external hard drive, just disconnect from your console. When finished resetting, do a fresh install right into your console's internal memory. Keep the external hard drive disconnected.
