Controller 'A' Button Not Working Sometimes

So I bought the Xbox Sport Red Controller off of Amazon and sometimes when I press 'A' it doesn't work and I have to press it again. When I say sometimes, I mean it happens almost every time. I use the controller on the PC. Please help me because I may
return it soon and buy it again. Please help.

I would contact Amazon and have them do a exchange. Also before you do , try to update controller and text again, but if still gives issue, then do the exchange through Amazon

Have you tried it on another device at all, or on a console?? If you could do that it would help determine if its a fault with the controller or if your PC isnt communicating properly with it maybe...

If it has the same fault on another device, I would get in touch with Amazon and let them know of the fault, if its a new controller, I would think it would have some sort of warranty on it, and you may be able to either get an exchange or refund dependent
on how long you have had it.

ok so the firmware is up to date, does your A button work better on the console or no?? if no, Definitely get in touch with Amazon and see what they can do.. again if it is out of warranty or beyond the time period to replace for a fault, you can follow
the advice above and request a repair from Microsoft, which would come at a cost to you.. the other option is to purchase a new controller, unless your confident enough to attempt to fix yourself
