Controll Serie number

I don't know if there are tools outside Microsoft that can provide that information. Anyway, the only thing your friend can try to do with your device serial code is to try to request a replacement (if you have a guarantee) but to complete this process you must send the same device with the same serial number...

The Elite Series 2 controller has a 1 year warranty.

If your controller isn’t working and needs replacing, go to https://beta.support.xbox.com/help/hardware-network/controller/controller-warranty and
enter the controller’s serial number at the bottom of that page. For the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, the 14-character serial number is in the lower centre on the back of the controller.

What type of logos and serial numbers? That way it might give some of us a way to get the newest series of the Elite 2 controller.

If there is a better working series 2 Elite controller, there would be a new serial number associated with the improved change as a result of a hardware change.

Can users start documenting on this forum here their serial numbers (or any other details) of the series 2 Elite controller. Hopefully we can monitor when the hardware change occurs.

However, it would be nice that if Microsoft can keep us updated with any progress or hardware revision.

Request an Xbox controller replacement

If your controller isn’t working and needs replacing, enter the controller’s serial number at the bottom of this page. You can find the serial number inside the battery compartment, below the barcode.
Things to keep in mind:

• Controller serial numbers are 14 characters long and don’t include dashes.
• Controllers must have been activated longer than 24 hours.
• If you have the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, the 14-character serial number is in the lower center on the back of the controller.
