Controler Substitute

okay so my 360 controller won't work even with new batteries and i don't want to get a new one because I only need the 360 for a quick project. I was wondering if thier was any other way to control the xbox. I used a keyboard *Which worked* except I needed
a start button and I didnt have one.

If you get the xbox app on your cell phone. There is a onscreen controller build in it that can be used for the time been.

Have you tried using the xbox 360 smartglass app?

if that doesn't work then finding a cheep controller might be your only option

I don't think any "USB adapter" has ever come with an Xbox 360, certainly not an audio adapter. (I don't know about original Xbox consoles.)
Can you describe it more?

The controller's headset jack works with many mobile/cordless phone headsets; I've used several, usually from Plantronics. If you know that your Samsung is 3.5mm and it doesn't fit, the controller must need a 2.5mm plug. Do you have any other old cell
phone headsets around?
