Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums with this issue. As your controller is showing up as "paired" on your PC, but isn't connecting, you may wish to remove the controller from the paired devices, update the driver (if not already updated), then
re-pair/connect the controller to your PC. Sometimes the drivers doesn't automatically update, even if the Windows 10 OS does, but you can get it to do so manually using the Device Manager.

1) On your keyboard, press Win+R(Windows logo key and R key) at the same time to invoke the run box.

2) Type devmgmt.mscand press
Enteron your keyboard.

3) Expand the branch Microsoft Xbox One Controller.

4) Right-click on the expanded Microsoft Xbox One Controller and select
Update driver (On lower Windows 10 versions, select
Update Driver Software).

5) Click Search automatically for updated driver software. Then Windows will install the new driver for the device.

6) Check to see if you can use the Xbox One Controller properly.

Thanks for the update on your issue with the controller working. Do you have an Xbox console, if so try and pair it on the console see if it works. Also if you can, try and connect the controller via USB. This may reset the controller settings and allow
it to be paired up again.
