Control key and Windows key register as if they are being held when I play minecraft.

Regarding to your information I assume that your keyboard key will be stuck after you play Minecraft.

I found a post that has an issue that is similar to yours maybe you can refer to this post to try to fix this problem.

Yes, if you are registered and submitted your application on the site you are guaranteed a key.

i changed the following in the config file to make it work

so hot keys setup for recording in shadowplay

left alt and Z to start a recording in shadowplay

left alt and X to save last 30 seconds in shadowplay

then i set the following in the config file for button mapper (highlighted in bold), the numbers represent a key on the keyboard, make sure you untick open gamebar with controller button press as this app configures it also.
