    Control is not recognized in anything else


    I was playing GTA V on the PC with the Official Xbox adapter for controllers and an Xbox Series Electric Volt controller and suddenly the controller started blinking and stopped working, now it no longer connects to the xbox adapter, neither to the PC's bluetooth adapter nor it is recognized more by the USB cable, I would like to know what to do, or I want a new control, because out of nowhere it stopped working it stopped working, however my control is brand new, in EXCELLENT condition, and never had this problem that is , it wasn't my fault and it's still worth mentioning that the control is fully up to date.

    Hi there!

    Sorry to hear about what happened. Let's do our best to sort this out.

    Try to power cycle your controller by pressing and holding the Xbox button until it turns off. Remove its batteries and wait at least a minute before turning it back on. I also suggest that you try to use new batteries.

    If that doesn't work, try to check your 'Device manager' by searching it from the Windows Search in Start menu. Make sure that your drivers are up-to-date.
    ***Try to uninstall your Xbox Wireless Adapter driver. Shutdown your PC, remove the adapter and turn it on again before you plug back in the adapter to reinstall its drivers.

    Check as well your Windows updates and get all available updates from the Microsoft Store.

    I wonder if it was Kinect not recognizing you. I know it switches logins when you're signed in, and you hand your controller over to someone else, so maybe that's what happened. It didn't recognize you, and thought you were someone else.
