continuous scrolling to music upon signing in

I bought the Xbox One for my husband and it constantly scrolls even when the controller isn't being used. It always scrolls to the music and when we try to go back to home or any other window it automatically advances us to the music. If we hold the cursor
thing to the left constantly, it flips between music and movies constantly. I am not sure what we can do to make that stop because it is annoying. Any ideas beside factory reboot to stop this from occurring?

Disconnected Upon Signing In

since i did the upgrade I have had nothing but issues all the test i run are fine...but keeps dropping me from xbox live..no error codes nothing i'm using a wired connection (was wireless but will not connect anymore that way since i did the update) It disconnects
on the lobby and in games..I have laptops that work had my internet provider on the phone for over an hour and there is no issue with my service at all. I contacted xbox customer service and was told that it is a known issue and they are trying to resolve
it as soon as possible. I'm just pissed cuz i just renewed my gold membership the day before this started (October 29th) I mean I play daily and within 3 hours the problem started. AHHHHH

Disconnected Upon Signing In

Connecting directly through the modem works, and stays connected. I don't think it's a problem with the ISP.

I'd rather avoid calling Cox support if I can, and Xbox Live support, and the DMV, and the dentist...

subscribed. same issue but ours scrolls back to home unless I actually select something like games then enter that menu. I can't just view the main page for games, apps, music, etc or it just scrolls itsself back. hope you find a solution here!

Sign in with your Profile -> Press the Guide Button -> Scroll right to "Profile" -> Select "Account Security" -> Select "Password at Sign-In" -> Select "Require Password Here" -> Select "Continue" -> BAM! You're done!

If you are having issues connecting to xbox live please check the following:

>Check your internet connection (wired is plugged in and wireless is detectable)

>Run xbox live test connection

>Check you NAT Type

>Reset Connection

>Check your WPA Security key, some issues occur when your ip settings are not on automatic

>Check Xbox Live Status if its up and running
support.xbox.com/.../troubleshoot

If further issues occur contact xbox support via online chat or phone

I'm using a wired connection, and have tried two separate ports on the router. One of which hooks up to a VoIP phone with no problem, the other hooks up to a Windows 7 PC (which I use to play games, etc.) no problem.

My ISP is Cox.
