Continually receiving Error Code 104 when attempting to launch Microsoft Solitaire

I get the error code message every time I attempt to open Solitaire, both on my Android tablet and on my Windows 10 laptop. Things were fine only a couple of days ago. This is a recent and highly distressing problem. On the error code page on Facebook,
it says only that 104 means something is wrong with opening the Daily Challenges on my devices, and to let someone know. Whom do I tell? How can I fix things? I have tried all the troubleshooting tips I could find.

The exact message reads: "There was a problem downloading game data for Solitaire." Twice it has said to refer to error code 101 rather than 104, but otherwise the message is the same.

Yesterday Xbox Live Services weren't working properly.

Can you try again to see if it is working for you now?

I would suggest that this relates to the outage on Xbox Live. Your savegame is saved in the cloud hence your progress can be shared between your devices. As you are seeing the same error on different devices and operating systems its highly likely that
the issue isn't local to you.
