Content restrictions enabled on account out of nowhere?

Please try these steps.

To allow your daughter to play online on the Switch, it is essential to set up the game's content restrictions in the Xbox Family Settings app. After linking your Microsoft account to your daughter's account in the Xbox Family Settings app, you can change the content restrictions to allow online play.

Steps to set up online play on the Switch:

1. In the Xbox Family Settings app:

Sign in with your family organizer's Microsoft account.

Select the profile of the member you want to manage and go to settings.

Under Content Restrictions, select "Minecraft".

Enable "Multiplayer" to allow the player to play online.

Enable "Clubs" to allow access to Realms and other features.

2. On the Nintendo Switch (optional, but recommended):

Make sure your daughter's account has a Nintendo Switch Online subscription.

Go to Family Settings on Nintendo Switch and make sure that online play restrictions are enabled for your child's account.

Check if you have Family Settings enabled. Family Settings restrict use to these things: Parties, Downloading i.e Games/Downloadable Content. If you do not have Family Settings enabled, check if you are securely connected to the internet and are logged in
on a Xbox LIVE account.

Under settings Black ops has a content/emblem restriction. If enabled it keeps you from seeing such things. Check that first.

Thanks for reaching out to the forums! Are you the only account on the mentioned console. If their is a child account also on the console those child restrictions will also affect your account if that child account is currently logged in. If there are no additional accounts I would recommend verifying that your accounts "content restrictions" are set to the desired level to allow you to download the games and apps that you want. You can get here by navigating to Settings/Account/Content Restrictions .

Please go to https://family.microsoft.com/ and click on his account. Please check if screen time limit is enabled - try to disable it. In Content filters > Apps & games, try to select "Any age" or have you already selected that? Did you mean about that "Content restrictions - Apply age filters - allow all content"?
