    I have an interesting situation here:

    My gamertag of was recently taken down due to a report. In the enforcement case the gamertag was labeled as inappropriate, most likely due to someone lewd associations with Bill Cosby in the news recently. The problem arises in the fact that
    I created the name as a play on the word/name Bill, and it was before the controversy with the specific person was known to most including me. If my case review isn’t accepted I am willing to change my name; however I feel it is unfair to pay to change my
    name when the name was created before it was inappropriate. Looking to bring this to the attention of the enforcement team if possible.

    All you can do is plead your case in the case review process through the enforcement teams website then they can determine if they can give you a chance to change your gamertag for free or not.

    I'm sorry you have had issues like this, but if someone has found your gamertag to be offensive, then enforcement will take it down. You cannot contact support over this either as they have nothing do with enforcement. Your only option is to change the
    gamertag, and yes you will have to pay.

    It is just a matter of waiting for the change to propogate through the Xbox Live servers, it can take a day or two. I'd recommend waiting for a few days, and if it still hasn't gone through, contact Xbox Support directly at https://beta.support.xbox.com/contact-us
