contacting Activision about MW2 crossplay.

Could Microsoft contact Activision on behalf of xbox users as we cant get to them...COD is so big it has become complacent with its users.

Crossplay is great I like to dabble with it but having no option turn it off is bad.

Firstly It`s not about cheats I've played COD and Warzone for years and have only only ever seen 2 or 3 definite cheats in Warzone a couple of possibles in COD. Players tend to shout cheater hacker ect when they lose even though its just bad sportsmanship or they just got owned.

My issue is with choice and leveling the playing field. I have a series S because that's what my current budget allows for.

So there is already a two tier system on Xbox online(series X vs series S) then add to that compulsory crossplay where you have people with top spec kit and 120hz monitors etc its not a level field.

What are activision's reasons for only being able to turn off crossplay on playstation? either the sales for xbox and pc are low or playstation paid to have it fixed for them? If the case is Activision took money from playstation to keep it exclusive to them that is me done. I didn't buy vanguard but I bought MW2 .

Keep in mind it affects the number of matches he can get since not everyone has cross play disabled ANd since others would be looking for cross play you wouldn't be matched upto them

Why? You would have to contact Activision with the current legal situation ms is facing with EU over the purchase ms can't boss Activision around with the ongoing investigation

However you do have the ability on your xbox to disable cross play

Start your Xbox
Proceed to console settings
Go to Xbox privacy found in account, privacy & online safety
Click View details & customise
Select Communication & multiplayer
Switch You can join cross-network play to Block
Restart your Xbox

Keep in mind it comes with consequences

Like less matches due to the smaller player base of xbox vs pc or ps

Sorry to say but the developer (in this case Activision) decided to set crossplay as default for MW2 on Xbox consoles
Right now only PS consoles can disable crossplay
