Constantly kicked off of Xbox live

I don’t understand what is wrong with my Xbox. I would play COD at my parents house and every like 5th game I would get kicked off and would say I need an Active Xbox connection but I would still be in an Xbox Live Chat. Now I move to my new place and
play again but same stuff. Play about 5 games then it kicks me off saying I need an active XBox connection. It is ridiculous I can’t play because it keeps kicking me off. I’m not even remotely far from my router either. What is the plan to fix this because
none of my friends ever have this problem.

Your wire could of come loose even without you noticing.

If you mean you are playing Call of Duty: WW2, there seems to be some server stability issues right now (at the time of this posting). The only thing to do is to wait it out until things are back to normal.

No it also happened with COD modern warfare too so it’s not just the game

It could be that your Internet Provider uses some kind of traffic shaping or may have accidently put restrictions on some of those services. I would recommend contacting your ISP to ensure there are no restrictions or reasons as to why those particular
services are being affected. I would also recommend logging into the router and setting up port forwarding on the ports mentioned here:

support.xbox.com/.../network-ports-used-xbox-live
