Constantly have to reactivate Showtime app

I hope so, sick and tired of waiting for the HBO go app on the Xbox one. They need to bring ShowTime anytime as well.

The new sling app coming to Xbox One will have a block of channels (ESPN, TNT, TBS, and others) for $20 a month. Also HBO and Showtime will offer standalone subs in the near future.

Look under your download history if it's not showing up in the apps section.

I was unaware of the Showtime app.

Hey All. I figured it out!! I was having the same exact issue with same error message mentioned above. Here are the steps to resolve...

On a computer:

1.Login to Showtime Anytime.

2.Go into settings (in drop down menu under your username)

3. Click "manage devices"

4. Click "remove" where you see the xbox360

-this removes your xbox as a known device for your showtimeanytime account

On your 360:

Delete the showtime anytime app

1. go to settings

2. go to system settings

3. select "storage"

4. select the storage device where your app is located (most likely "hard drive")

5. Select "games and apps"

6. select "showtime anytime"

7. select and delete all files associated with the app

.... not sure if necessary but from here i cleared system cache (highlight "hard drive" under storage devices and press "Y" then select clear system cache) and I also turned the xbox on and off for good measure.

After you have removed your xbox as a known device on showtimeanytime.com and deleted the app from your xbox:

1. Download the Showtime Anytime app and follow the instructions

-It will ask you to activate your device again with a code..

Takes a couple mins but it is really not that complicated. Hope that works for you as it did for me!!

Showtime? I ain't got time fo dat. We need a Cinemax app already so I can watch some dang pron.
