    Constant "there was a problem with your saved games" errors and booting issue afterwards


    This problem started a couple weeks ago when playing Doom on GamePass. I randomly started getting errors saying " there was a problem with your saved games" and I would have to wipe the local saved games and restart.

    As of a few days ago every startup will launch into the startup error screen. Neither factory reset option works. I tried an offline update and offline factory restore as well.

    I thought maybe my HDD was crapping out. So I bought a new one and installed it with no problems. Xbox booted right up and worked great. Installed Doom again because I wanted to finish it up and bam, same problem.

    Now I am stuck at the startup repair screen again usually with an E106 error. My Xbox is out of warranty by a few months.

    Resident Evil 7 on Game Pass PC not allowing me to play due to not being able to create a save

    So I was actually able to fix this problem! First: start the game so you get that error message. Afterwards close your game, find your save files. Should be somewhere in C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Packages\F024294D.RESIDENTEVIL7biohazard_8fty0by30jkny/SystemAppData/wgs/
    when you're in that file, delete the save that has the most recent date. In my case it was 11-9-2020. Those are your local files, when you boot up RE7 again the game syncs the cloud saves and you'll be able to play it again.

    I have given up.

    I'll give a short rundown. I constantly get startup errors linked to my hard drive. I will also get constant "the rest a problem with your saved games" error message for literally anything. Randomly it will refuse to boot up applications. Forget about
    consistant network and controller connections. Installing games will cause the system to have an aneurysm. Sometimes party chat crashes the entire system. Sometimes trying to sign in requires you to unplug the system. Gets stuck in loading loops.

    Memory error: 0-1766

    I found a fix for getting kicked constantly and memory errors. Turn the hdr off and make it 1080p at 24hrts. Its a bit of a down grade but will stop the constant booting from the game. Please pass this along i know alot off people are having this issue.
