    Constant Buzzing from One Member in Party Chat


    Been playing PUBG with a couple of friends. One person in particular joins our party and we have a constant buzzing/feedback from his mic. When he is muted this goes away. It appears that his mic is constantly picking up back ground
    noise which makes the Chat seem like he is about to speak.

    Is there any way to fix this? He has tried sliding down mic sensitivity, but this did not work. I am not sure of the headset he is using except that it is a stereo headset plugged into his controller (not sure if the adapter is used).
    Are there any tips on getting this fixed or does he just need to buy a better headset?

    Constant disconnect from Party Chat

    Every time i join or make a party and then unsnap the side bar and go back to whatever im doing, the party just disappears in a matter of seconds. No disconnect notification or anything. I restart my Xbox, unplug it and everything and it just stops it for
    a little while and starts back up again. Im in the Preview Program and i don't know if it's because of the recent update and I don't know if anyone else is having this problem but its really frustrating.

    can I turn off my wireless controller auto shut off?

    The auto off is designed to help save battery life. The charger cable prevents it from shutting off, at the cost of a REALLY annoying buzzing sound. Sometimes your party members can hear it, sometimes not, and the volume seems to be random. Also, I've noticed
    that if I am in a private chat with one person, my controller will not shut off...I am not sure why. It stays on for hours and hours in a private chat, but in parties it shuts off after about 10 min of inactivity.

    Yeah, in the past whenever I've had a controller buzzing, or had a buzzing microphone from somebody else in a party chat, it's been because a controller has been charging at the same time.

    Is your controller powered via an USB power supply during that time?

    My friends also sometimes complain about a buzzing sound when I'm charging my controller via USB. Also, another friend produces buzzing when he charges his controller via USB.

    So it's probably not your Y cable or microphone, as the original Xbox chat headset also buzzes, when the controller charges via USB.

    However, when I remove the USB charging cable, the buzzing stops.

    So if you still have a buzzing sound, do you have to power the microphone?
