    Constant 4mb updates


    Everytime I try to start playing a game which I have previously played, I get a 4mb update. This happens on a regular basis with all my games, and im not clearing the cache in any way. Its not a lot of hassle to just do the "update", but im wondering if
    it could lead on to other problems with my xbox and if there is a fix for it?

    Everytime you clear the cache you delete these updates. They are required while connected to live in order to work. Disconnect live and no updates.

    Hello,

    My advice is to just let them download, after a while the games should no longer require updating because you will have gotten all of the updates the developers have pushed out for them.

    I don't believe it's anything that can hurt your xbox over time, but it's usually a sign that your cache is full or there might be an issue with a file in the cache.

    If you're not sure how to clear the system cache, then here is instructions
    support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache     once you have done it, your games will update again 1 more time, and hopefully no more updates after.
