Console xbox series s would not install anything

Thank you so much for the detailed information. We may need to reset the console keeping your games and apps. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

An Xbox One and a Series X are two different consoles. The game has not been released for the Xbox One. You would need a Series S or X console in order to install it.

Depends is your console a series s? If so that's why the series s version would have smart delivery and only install the non HD textures and use the compression chip series s and series x version would be size difference

Smart delivery is just a term used by Xbox to say that the correct version of the game will be installed on your console. So if it was an Xbox One you have, then you would get the Xbox One version, and the Series X or S would get the Series X|S version of the game.

Games requiring mandatory installs on the Xbox 360 are not common. Around 95% of games can be run straight from the disc with no install required.

With the Xbox One and the Series X|S consoles, times have moved on. Xbox One and Series X installs are mandatory and game installs/downloads can be anything from a few GB's into 100GB or more. The Xbox One and Series X|S version of GTV is over 90GB.

with reference to the latest consoles It's not a cynical ploy. Games have got bigger because graphics have become more impressive. Better graphics mean larger games. It's always been this way since the first ever game consoles were released way back in the late 1970's.
