    Console Update During Game Update


    Microsoft really need to sort this out, I was 98.8% through updating Modern warfare which is a 32GB Update btw then all of a sudden console wants to update, it would be nice if you could at least finish the game Update first then update console but no I either had to update or go offline. Now I'm dreading the console restarting after the update to find that I have to start the update all over again for the game. Please put an option to finish the game update before the console update.

    Put your console in "instant on" mode & BAM,no updates during games.

    I would say I think both consoles are very similar when it comes to updates and downloads to be fair.

    Turn on auto update most of the time my games update during the night đź‘Ť

    Those are downloads in the background. Turn on the "Auto update" feature on your console to let the console update during non active hours.

    if you are asked to update the game during the installation always answer it with NO !

    After the installation start the game and update it then.

    I would recommend to empty the console cash before you try again.

    This is something that would be handled by microsoft during a console update, I doubt theres a way to update the drive independently.
