Console Update During Game Update

Put your console in "instant on" mode & BAM,no updates during games.

I would say I think both consoles are very similar when it comes to updates and downloads to be fair.

Those are downloads in the background. Turn on the "Auto update" feature on your console to let the console update during non active hours.

if you are asked to update the game during the installation always answer it with NO !

After the installation start the game and update it then.

I would recommend to empty the console cash before you try again.

This is something that would be handled by microsoft during a console update, I doubt theres a way to update the drive independently.
