Console unable to update

Having a problem with the latest update not being able to download which forces me offline. Tried to factory reset thinking that would fix the problem but the update still won’t work and now I’m in a endless startup where I can’t do anything with the console without the update cause it keeps failing. The error code that it keeps giving me is 80070570 which from what I’ve seen comes from corrupted files or something being corrupted and the console was working perfectly fine the day before this update was forced on me now it made my console unusable. Anybody else have a similar experience like this and maybe a fix?

If you are having problems while trying to update your console then please try performing an offline update. You can find all the information about it and the detailed steps to take in the following link:

Please note that you will need a USB flash drive with a minimum 6 GB of space formatted as NTFS.

I guess you are in the preview program, The best suggestion I can make is to unplug any accessories such as external hard drives then carry out a hard reset by pressing and holding the power button on the front of the console and then restarting without
any accessories connected.

If you are in the preview program and this problem persists please post in the forum below.

If you're not an Xbox Insider that's using insider builds of the OS on your console, you can try an offline update using a USB stick. Full instructions are here: -

Note that this is NOT an option if your console is enrolled to receive insider builds.

Hey Cady, sorry to hear about the update issue! Okay, it sounds like you've checked out the

update troubleshooting page based on the steps you've listed. Would you mind clarifying for me what you tried with the USB, specifically? Did you try and update with the USB drive, or did you instead try and use the
USB as a storage device with the HDD removed? If you haven't tried both of those options, can you please do so now?

If you have tried both options with no result, please try removing the update. When you're finished with the steps below, please try updating again via a wired connection to your modem. Then, let me know how it goes!

On your console, go to Settings hub, and then select System.

Select Storage.

On your controller, press the following button sequence:

Press the left bumper.
Press the right bumper.
Press the X button.
Press the left bumper.
Press the right bumper.
Press the X button.

There is an console update and Discord update out too. But i still have the issue of unable to re-link my accounts.
