Console switches to Netflix when using other video apps?

I’m watching HBONow streaming a movie and after an hour my console just loaded up Netflix. Mid movie, just up pops the Netflix loading screen. I switch back and a few seconds later it loads again. Several back and forth interactions and then its fine.
I have had this issue off and on for the last month or two. I try restarting the console and reinstalling NETFLIX and HBONOW and still it repeats. Only happens about once a week.

We understand that you're experiencing an issue concerning your Xbox One console randomly loading other apps, in this case Netflix, even though you're on an app that does not concern with Netflix.

We recommend trying a power cycle
of the console.

If the problem persists, try doing a soft factory reset of the console,
reset and keep games and apps to help reset the operating system. Please note before doing this troubleshooting step, make sure to know your email and passwords for your Xbox profiles.

Try this out first and let us know the results.

Could you kindly hold down the power on your Xbox and simultaneously unplug the power. After, unplug the power source from the wall and wait one minute. Then, plug everything back in and start it up. Let me know if this occurs again!

I tried using voice command with Netflix last night but it still does not work. So far the apps I have experienced this with are Netflix, Blueray player, video files via the media player. Those are the main apps that I use to watch videos. I will try a few
other video apps later today and report back.

I can still turn the console on and off and navigate the home area with voice.

Doing it to me as well and also when trying to use netflix or hulu. I can watch other videos and see my friends, but can't update or use those apps.

Please let me know if you have your Xbox set to instant on or not. I also have this issue with my Netflix when I switch the xbox off without closing it.

I would suggest that you close the Netflix app, and any other apps that are running when you switch the xbox off as this seems to work for me and Netflix will load fine the next time I use it.
