Unfortunately I don't know the success rate of recovering a stolen console. Your local police department would be suited to answer that question as they would know places where consoles would be sold second hand.

Sorry to hear it. It's unfortunate that your console was stolen. The first thing you should do is contact your local law enforcement agency and report the theft. Be sure to give them the serial numbers of the consoles. Xbox can only release the tracking
info to the police via a subpoena.

After reporting the theft you should immediately log in to
https://account.microsoft.com and change your email and/or password so no one can access your account.

If you have a credit card or paypal attached to your account you should report the theft to them so they can stop all payments until a new card is issued.

I would recommend changing your password first.

Then contact the police. They can work directly with Xbox to track the IP address of the console.
