Console Refuses to Acknowledge New Vegas Disc

I bought a brand new sealed copy of New Vegas Ultimate Edition and my xbox simply refuses to read or spin it for that matter. All that happens when inserting the disc is itll make one or two beeps and nothing else, no error message either. I power cycled
multiple times and cleared the persistent storage. Its not my console either, I tested another game and it worked fine.

Have you tried returning the game to where you bought it to get a new copy or get a refund?

Sorry about your problem there.

When you try other discs that work, are these 360 discs or Xbox One game discs?

Do you own any other 360 disc games and they work?

I ask this because 360 discs are DVD discs and Xbox games are on Blu-ray. There is a separate laser for reading DVD discs in the console.

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely.
Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes.
Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

Sorry to hear it. If it's not the console then the issue may lie with the disc itself. Sometimes discs just want to be lazy and not spin. Please try holding the disc for a second when the console grabs it to force the read.
