Usually there is an option for you on the hotel web site to register a Legacy device with your mac address on your console. If you know the mac address on the console you should be able to just register the device on their network

Having an issue to connect to xbox live? You should check this.

You could also try clearing the alternate MAC address by going into settings, network advanced, and clear alternate MAC address. You console will restart and your NAT should be open. Clearing the MAC address refreshes the ip.

To view the MAC Address:

Scroll left on the Home screen to open the guide.

Select Settings.

Select All Settings.

Select Network.

Select Advanced Settings.

You're then able to view the Wired and Wireless MAC address there.

Did you change the MAC address on the router for the static IP address. If it still has the MAC address for the old console then it won't work for the new one. You will need to set the new console's MAC address up in the router on that IP address.

@L25H00t - If it's possible, you can either choose to share your computers Internet connection with your console, or use the physical address (MAC) of the authenticaded computer, as your console's alternative MAC address (MAC spoofing)
