    Console keeps removing my profiles after turning off console


    Hi lads,

    I bought an Xbox yesterday from a friend as they never used the console. I signed into my account and downloaded the games I wanted and that was fine. However once I turned it off and tried logging back in it had removed all of my accounts that I had on it, this has happened even after a power cycle so I'm unsure what the next step is.

    I'm unsure if this is an insider programme bug on a recent update but if anyone has any idea what could be causing it that would be a great help thanks!

    Try to remove your profile, then turn off the console and remove the power cord; wait for 1 to 2 minutes before plugging it back in and turn on the console and sign in!

    Check if the issue is corrected!

    If the issue persists, try to soft reset the console by keeping games and apps!

    Hello Adam!

    Try to remove your profile, then turn off the console and remove the power cord; wait for 1 to 2 minutes before plugging it back in and turn on the console and sign in!

    If the issue persists, follow the steps below to perform a reset on the Xbox:

    Settings > System > Console Info > Reset This Xbox > Reset and Keep my Games and Apps.

    Hi,

    First remove your profile from the system. After it's been removed reset the console by holding the power button for a full 10 seconds until it turns off. Turn it back on and add your profile again.

    See if that helps.
