@Montydogman - How strong is the signal that your Xbox sees? The speeds you reported a bit slow for seamless LIVE experience, and a low signal strength could contribute along with this to the drops.

If you don't know the difference post back all of it, the FiOS service uses a gateway which is a modem with router functions, and the airport has router functions, meaning both of them have to be configured to get around their firewalls.

To do that we'd need to know both the model and make of each of them, post it back and we can sort out which is which

When you run "Test Xbox LIVE connection" what is the exact message shown on screen? Closed NAT- some functions of XBL may not work, you may not be able to chat or play with other players with closed NAT.

I suggest you unplug your modem for 30 seconds then plug it back in I hope this helps and if this dosent work please post again saying it dident work
