    Anyway to fix this stupid console to where I dont have to update to add new games. I already didnt want them to have it cause of having to have internet and now before we can load games it requires an update. Why can't you make a console that sont require
    internet cause not everybody has high speed internet some of us have satalite and are limited to what we can do. Thanks Microsoft for such a crappy product. I've always hated this issue buft seems like it keeps on popping up so I have to try to update it.

    Hey MoonLightFox! Have you tried this with multiple game discs? Do you receive an error message, if so what is it? You also may want to check out the following

    disc read troubleshooter     to see if the suggested steps help. Let us know the results and the answers to those questions so we can help you out! :)

    Try cleaning the disc? or start looking for a disk fix as it is possibly a problem with the drive itself

    If you've ever switched consoles in the past, it usually says that. You can fix it by going to your active downloads on the console, selecting the download, and choose "Download All Items" and it should stop that message.

    I have tried everything and my hard drive works fine, but every other game works smoothly but it's those specific games that always act up. And I just tried playing an older game today and my Xbox doesn't even want to read it anymore.
