    Console issues.


    I have gotten Rocksmith 2014 and Battlefield 4 for Christmas recently, and ever since I have gotten the two games. They constantly freeze in mid game. Rocksmith 2014 freezes more than Battlefield 4.

    Ever since I've had the two games, my console constantly tells me to open tray when there is a disc inside.

    So far it has done this with every game I own.

    I take care of all of my games and I take care of my console.

    Why is it that after I got these two games, that my console starts to act up when everything works fine?

    I appreciate the answer. I did some quick browsing and it seems to be a corrupted profile. It has been suggested I redownload my profile.

    Console issues.

    Try clearing the cache for the freezing issue. It may also be a problem with the hard drive itself. If you have multiple drives remove them all and then put one in at a time to see if the issue recurs. If it does then that peripheral would be causing
    the issue.

    As for the open tray error, try the disc drive solution at the link below.

    If none of those help then you would probably need to get the console repaired/replaced.

    Sounds to me like your disk drive is going out.

    If that is then case then your only solution is to send it in for repair or buy a new one.

    Hey MoonLightFox! Have you tried this with multiple game discs? Do you receive an error message, if so what is it? You also may want to check out the following

    disc read troubleshooter     to see if the suggested steps help. Let us know the results and the answers to those questions so we can help you out! :)

    Try cleaning the disc? or start looking for a disk fix as it is possibly a problem with the drive itself

    If you've ever switched consoles in the past, it usually says that. You can fix it by going to your active downloads on the console, selecting the download, and choose "Download All Items" and it should stop that message.

    I have tried everything and my hard drive works fine, but every other game works smoothly but it's those specific games that always act up. And I just tried playing an older game today and my Xbox doesn't even want to read it anymore.
