    I currently bought an e-gift card for my friend, he recently just got the gift, once he redeemed it, he was confused he used the code but nothing was working. We realized when he tried to manage his game pass that it is on console. (On the site that I purchased it, this information was not very well specified/explained, only that it was the normal version of game pass and not ultimate.)

    Before you check the information it mentions about playing on Xbox but people could interpret that differently, and Xbox has an app called this aswell,.

    As per the warning on forums

    Go with official partners

    Fyi you can gift directly via Xbox marketplace as long as you are in the same region

    If not well next time tell him to find his own etailer if he doesn't not live in a xbox live region. That's the risk you take for trying to break the marketplace rules

    Third party codes are risky in light of the forum.warnings

    If it is too good to be true DONT do it

    This seems very unfair & outrageous https://www.prezzee.com.au/store/xbox-game-pass-gift-card/ did not mention or specify which version we would be buying, there should be a refund, it hasn't been used to buy any games and we are both just looking to get our money back. (I've contacted them about this inconvenience as well and are still waiting for a response)

    Hi, I hope you're doing great despite the issue you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    I'm sorry for the trouble, Dev_Starr. Also, if your friend is on PC, I'm sorry but it indeed will not work. As additional information is that we can't replace it since it has been redeemed already. A workaround here will be buying an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate in that way the current game pass will be converted sp your friend can use it on PC.
