    My Xbox One X 1TB is having hdd failures do to a system update failing and now I cannot install games to the internal hdd otherwise my console will fail to start-up. Since this issue was caused by an update can the cost of getting it fixed be waved?

    My console got 1 red ring but it works now

    E68 is related to HDD failure, not console failure.

    You could look into a replacement HDD, though if you have a pre-Jasper console a new console is probably a better idea.

    I had to do like a dozen system resets in the past 4 months
    Are you in an Insider preview ring?

    Are you getting any error messages/codes when you turn the console on?

    If so, what are they?

    Does the troubleshooting screen appear or does it go to the sign in Home screen?

    Are you using WiFi or wired to connect to your network hardware?

    At this point, I would have to recommend
    creating a service order     for your device, as if it is hardware failure, it will be difficult to have your console behave as intended without a repair.

    If you are experiencing difficulties with setting up a repair on your own, you can use the steps provide by XBF Leo G to get in-touch with an
    Xbox Rep that will be able to assist you further with this.
