On October 11th, against all reason and my better judgement, I participated in this offer even after initial indications were that Microsoft, Rewards.xbox.com through Eprizes, and the Microsoft Store were not going to stand behind their promotion. I stupidly
went ahead and purchased the Gears of War 2TB console through this promotion anyway, hoping against hope that a giant vertically integrated half trillion dollar conglomerate would stand behind their promotions. Of course there was another failure, and the
Expedited Shipping promised was not reflected in the Microsoft Store cart. I called support and after being transferred around unnecessarily, I got to possibly the only person at Microsoft who has any interest in doing her job well, support representative
Kim. After familiarizing herself with the promotion, she fixed the shipping issue, and even upgraded it as a way to apologize for my troubles. Here it is 15 days later, and my 50,000 rewards points have not been deposited, nor is the purchase reflected in
my MyVIP Star Rank for cash back on future purchases.

I am beyond disgusted. With Eprizes. With Microsoft Store. With the whole Microsoft brand. One chance. One last chance before I return the console, unwind the whole thing. And, then begin writing letters to address every problem I've had with every
step of the chain. I can promise these will not be kind letters, the only one who's demonstrated any interest on my behalf or awareness when it comes to this promotion is Kim. Kim will get through this. I am on the verge of making it my personal mission
to spoil whatever performance incentives and representative, any supervisor, any janitor, might be expecting.

One way or another I will have satisfaction. Either we all have merry a Christmas or none of us do. From the rewards.xbox.com page, MyVIP Star Rank updates in 96 hours. That's a reasonably quick timeframe, 4 days. After that, I will begin taking definitive
actions to fix the problem on my end. I can't just let this go, a chain of people in Microsoft through a conspiracy of their own design or incompetence have successfully stolen my time, I'm sure as **** not going to let them keep my money.

The Microsoft Support Code for this ongoing incident is 58692209. This theater of failure has now covered 21 days, and counting.

I just upgraded to an Xbox one s from the 360. i ordered it on November 24th and it got here on November 28th. When will i get the 50,000 Microsoft points that were supposed to be earned from my purchase and when will they show as pending as i dont have
any points showing as pending right now. I hope you can help me to redeem my rewards soon.

 

Keep in mind that credits should show as pending about 15 business days after the console shipped. So it would not have been enough time. Also, hardware purchases do not count towards VIP.
