Console game licences

i know that when games are linked to the 1st 360 downloaded to they are licence linkd to that consle and any profile can play them, but if a game is accidently deleted, then it has t be downloaded ( i am told by the original profile ) but if its added to
the download queue by the original profile on an e.g. ipad , would that mean the 360 would not then have tomhave the original profile sign into it...?

Licence transfer is from console to console, not from game tag to gamer tag, and it is not possible to transfer licences to another profile

 

Transfer data question.

Hi, to transfer content licences associated with your console you must sign in to the console with the profile used to purchase the content. Once signed in go to Settings > account > billing options and select licence transfer following the on screen instructions to transfer the licences to the new console so other profiles can use the content. Content can not be transfered across profiles only across consoles - hope this helps

Sorry i didn't get perfectly your question... But if you download to another console with you original profile, you can play with it untill you're connected, but you cannot play with the same account in the same moment on two consoles...

 

You are correct in that Xbox 360 content is licensed in two parts - to the Microsoft account that bought it, and to the first Xbox 360 console that installs it. If you're going to use the game on the same console after deleting it, the account that owns
it will need to download it again.

However, if you're using it on a different console (one you yourself own), you will use the license transfer process to move your Xbox 360 console license to the other console. Then, on the original console, you would have to sign in and remain signed in for
