    A frustrating bug that's been going on lately for several alpha skip insider builds my xbox series x crashes to home with the xbox power button flashing rapidly in several games such as Fortnite,CODMW2,and now Diablo 4 I've reported this issue under CODMW2 already but my first time posting here I also let Eden Marie know on twitter as well I'd like some kind of acknowledgement on this issue as to how to proceed or provide more data to the xbox team I've tried all I know so far all I know is the games freeze i see the power button flash on my console and then im on the home screen i get no overheating warning or the console completely shutting down or restarting just crashes to home please help thanks team xbox

    Xbox One power light

    Usually, the power light flashes when you try to bind a new wireless controller to the console or shortly during startup/shutdown of the console.

    Does the console start completely to the Home Screen, or is the console not starting at all when the power light flashes?

    So my Xbox was stuck on the green start up screen done a fully factory reset and now it’s just stop on 50% properly console how do I fix this ?

    Just tried the power cycle but still crashes.

    Clicked on game come up with the red loading screen then after a few seconds the light on my console flashes and puts me back on the Home Screen with a pop up saying:

    Something went wrong

    Hi Sam! Have you performed a power cycle on your console? I know that sometimes (especially with BIG games, or games that install large update patches) a power cycle is necessary to clear the memory cache. Sometimes the game won't load, or even tries to
    load but dumps back to the Home Screen.

    To power cycle:

    1. Hold the power sensor on the console for approximately 8 seconds (you will see the power brick light flash orange, then return to white.)

    2. Let go when you see the orange flash, then wait for the light on the power brick to turn solid orange.

    3. Wait about 30 seconds, then power the system back on and try your game.
