Warranty related question I purchased my series x console and the controller I have has been experiencing too down stick drift I made a request on the device with the console but saw it has separate warranty dates why is my controller only getting 3 months opposed to a year when it came factory with the console?

The Xbox warranty period is 90 days for controllers. This has been standard for Xbox for a while.

The controller and console warranties are separate. The controller is considered an accessory and may have a separate warranty period than the console. There's only a one year warranty that comes with the xbox.

You'll need to contact Xbox Support and provide them a copy of your receipt/proof of purchase and they can have someone adjust that 1 year warranty end date to match the correct date for your 1 year warranty.

If you bought an extended warranty then that would be handled separately by the company you purchased that additional warranty through.
