    Sometime in the middle of the week I was watching Netflix on my Xbox One X (Scorpio Edition) then all of a sudden, Netflix became laggy, to the point of freezing entirely. I would open the side panel and quit the app, then tried reopening it. No cigar. So
    I went on my with my day thinking Netflix was just on the fritz... A couple days later, I tried playing Madden 2018, and it froze up on me. Then Rocket League, then AC Origins. It got so bad that I would try to open up the side panel, and my controller would
    become unresponsive. I've changed absolutely nothing with my settings, it just started "dying" on me every time I attempted playing anything. I've attempted hard rebooting. Uninstalling games and reinstalling them, switching my power and setup settings because
    the console was feeling a tad warm (which doesn't make sense, it's out in the open with plenty of room for ventilation), switching it from on its side to laid out flat, deleting my account then re-logging in, changing my location, factory reset while keeping
    games. I've done everything OTHER than a full on factory reset, which I really don't want to do... Then I checked when the latest Xbox update came out, sure enough it was when my Xbox One X started freezing on me, January 22nd. My buddy hasn't had any problems
    with his Scorpio Edition, but I truly believe this is happening because of the latest update. Is anyone else encountering this?

    BRICKED CONSOLE after latest update!!!!!!!

    Today (0/06/2014) at about 8AM EST I updated my console.

    I walked away and took a shower only to come back to a frozen log in screen. No response from the kniect either.

    Picture from kniect still showed me on the couch. No response from controller.

    Powered down at console and used controller to power back on.

    No audio or splash screen, just black. Then IT happened.
    The ring of doom and the fan went
    full speed. Rinse and repeat= same ol.

    Checked my security video to see if something happened while I was gone. All I had seen was the console finished the download and restart by itself.

    YES my console is clean.

    YES my console is cool.

    NO there were no power interrupts during the update process. UPS/serge

    The Xbox One console shall greatly improve with various update patches folks, cease the pointless complaining!

    Xbox one s Keeps turning off while live streaming

    If you use a usb camera for face cam and are live streaming after the latest update, disconnect the camera for now.

    This is a known issue after the latest console updates and should stabilize your streams.
