    Came to start up my xbox (this is my second/family room console, have a 1X also but this console is fine) and it booted to the recovery menu with 4 tiles. I first attempted to restart console/power cycle, didn't work. I then did both reset options in the menu to no avail. Finally tried doing an offline update but it won't let me, it says something went wrong immediately and comes up with a huge error code (I can provide this if necessary). Does anyone have any ideas on what to do? Or do I need to contact MS support? Thanks guys.

    HELP I Have un enrolled from skip ahead alpha but can't get out 1 week later?

    If you have unenrolled from the Alpha or Alpha Skip Ahead, the console will be marked in the Microsoft database for unenrollment.

    However, if the System wasn't factory reset, the Alpha/Skip Ahead Software is still installed.

    You might have to download an
    OSUDT to an USB stick     and do a factory reset with a fresh system install from USB.

    Klick on the link above and follow the instructions for updating your console offline (the tile on the right).

    Hi,

    In this case lets go ahead and try to boot your console into recovery mode. Please be sure that the console is turned off before you begin. To boot an Xbox One into 'Recovery Mode' press the Xbox Power button + Disc Eject button + Sync/Bind button on the
    console all at the same time for about 10-15sec.

    You'll be given the option to completely reset the console or you can do a USB Offline System update Restore Factory Defaults.
