Console beeping

Thanks for the idea of using the troubleshooter but it didnt help at all. its an older model if that helps

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are experiencing difficulties with your Xbox console.

I would first have to ask if your console it connected directly into an outlet or perhaps its connected to an extension cord or surge protector?

I would recommend connecting your console directly into an outlet, as having your console connected to anything other than an outlet, could cause your console to behave in ways it wasn't intended to.

I would definitely recommend using a
power cycle on your console if you haven't already to see if this helps alleviate the issue.

Hey Raw, when you say your old console, do you mean your Original Xbox, or is it an Xbox 360 console? If it's the latter, be sure to try the
troubleshooter for Open Tray issues!

but works well ?, I would recommend you check that there is no trapped disc or plug it into another plug, it can be a power problem, if the problems continue you may restart factory restart, if everything still remains I recommend using warranty or requesting
a Repair

Maybe something is tapping the eject button or something? It might be haunted or possessed. (Cause you know Halloween.)
