    Console ban without reasons and 3 of the same offense had been put on to my account


    need help why am i getting 3 of the same offense put onto my account then got put on a console ban without a reason why. Microsoft sort you enforcement out please.

    hey,

    Normally the ban occurs on an account then if the offense is severe enough the console will have a ban as well

    I received an Xbox Console ban for submitting a case review

    I received an Xbox One console ban. I'm not sure why this occurred.

    I originally had a minor ban just on my Xbox Live account that did not allow me to engage in any of the social aspects of Xbox Live. I submitted a case review in hopes that they would lift the ban. It says my decision was upheld, which i thought meant that
    i would get all my privileges back. But instead they put a console ban on my Xbox so instead of just not being able to chat with others, now i am no longer able to play online with other, and without a reason.

    Device bans are not issued lightly, and occur when a particular Xbox console or Xbox on Windows device is used to violate the Code of Conduct in an egregious or repeated manner. Seems this is your case since several enforcement acts were taken before the
    device ban.

    Given the severity of this action the XBLPET takes each device ban extremely seriously, and only take action after a lengthy investigation.

    Consoles are not always banned due to modifications. If you have had multiple suspensions or perminant bans on the same console then that can also be another reason for a console ban. That is the only other way your console can be banned without it being
    modified.

    Same as MajorAb......I have been in the program since march - I think I just got banned though for a 3day suspension I had in 2011 over my "offensive" profile - it was not offensive.

    Banned for the same thing 2 times in a row?!

    I got a communications ban 3 weeks ago for 4 days. Logged in this morning and they gave me a 22 day ban for the exact same thing and I wasn't even on my Xbox yesterday. I pay money for this account and shouldn't be banned for no reason. There is no one to speak to. Why are they banning me and additional 22 days for something I already did my time for?
    The majority of bans/suspensions arent given on the same day as the actual offense so whether you were actually online at the time they gave you the ban is irrelevant.

    What likely happened is when you were serving your first suspension they found the offense that caused your second suspension and added that one on so it would have been for a totally separate offense.

    The only ones who handle bans/suspensions are the enforcement team and the only way to reach them is via a case review at https://enforcement.xbox.com
