    I received a console ban on my Xbox X console.

    I have no enforcements, or strikes on my account.

    How can I talk to Microsoft and get an explanation?

    I haven’t even received an email notification.

    Everything looks clear, but can’t go live, I think Microsoft made an error.

    Does anyone know the path to get back on track?

    Even the guys at GameStop where I purchased are dumbfounded.

    They told me they can’t exchange it because there’s a ban on the console… super frustrating.

    Yes, it was refurbished, but we’ve used it for a few months.

    That was a question that I asked them; if the previous owner might still have the consoles serial # tied to their account.

    Did you buy it used from gamestop if so that would be why

    It may not have even been you but the previous owner

    If that's the case it's not reviewable and you will just have to return it or exchange
