Console ban question 2

Hi, i have a second question about console bans. say an account broke tos too many times and got banned along with a console ban on the console that those violations were made on. If that banned profile on the banned xbox was also on a different device such as windows 10 before and during the console ban, would the windows 10 also be banned since it had that profile on it at the same time or is it specific to the console id that the violations occurred on? Thanks

If you receive only a console ban, this means only the console is the one that can't be used with online features.

The accounts used there will not receive the ban if indeed there is no an email about it on the account

ok thanks, and also if that account ban results in a console ban, that account will be banned everywhere but the console ban will only be on that specific console not any others even if they have the banned account on it since the console bans result from violations made on that specific console, correct?

Usually the bans are issued on the devices/accounts where you received the message, if the ban message only appeared on your console, that means only the console was banned.

hi thanks for the reply! I just wanted to mention this is purely out of curiosity and i’m not console banned but just curious. Say i get an account banned forever and the same xbox banned. If i previously had that xbox profile on my windows 10 computer before the console ban, would the windows 10 pc be banned also since it had the account on it? can xbox see what console or device the violation was made on?
