Console & App "Block" Feature (Bug Report)

Sometimes we encounter people that aren't the most pleasant or friendly on Xbox. Typically, my way of handling these people is by blocking them. The only issue with that is that people aren't always "blocked" once selecting the "block" feature on their profile
from an Xbox console and/or from the Xbox app as well. These supposedly blocked users are still able to message and send invites to those who wish and attempt to stop them from doing a number of things, like persistently messaging, inviting, commenting on
posts/clips, or spamming (intentionally to annoy someone), etc.

I'm not sure if I'm posting in the correct section, but I think this is a much needed bug fix and wanted to see if others experience the same issue. I hope this feature is fixed for myself and others that have this problem soon.

Use mute aswell, this will block any further communication, you can also change your message preference to friends only on;

Hi Brat,

One Xbox One when you block someone they can send you messages but you not suppose to get it or recieve notification of measages from them. Also, they can still search for gamertag but they would be able to see what your doing and you will appear offline
to them.

I havent recieved any meaasge, game or party invites from people who are on my blocked list. Sorry your are because you definetely shouldnt. Thanks for making us aware of this bug.

That definitely shouldn't be happening. It does sound like a bug that will hopefully work itself out soon. You can adjust your privacy settings in the meantime so that only your Friends can see your Activity Feed, game history, captures or message you.
