    Ciao a tutti!

    Vorrei connettere la mia console con ingresso HDMI ad un monitor con solo ingresso
    DisplayPort.

    OUT: HDMI

    IN: DP

    Qualcuno ha gi provato il collegamento e conosce l'esistenza del cavo appropriato?

    Sono al corrente della "mono-direzionalit " tra DP e HDMI e viceversa.

    Can Xbox one work through DisplayPort

    Ok, so I was wondering if my Xbox One S would work with DisplayPort. I know it doesn't have a DisplayPort plug-in so I am thinking about buying a DisplayPort to HDMI cable. If I plugged the HDMI part into the Xbox and the DisplayPort part into my monitor,
    will it work or no?

    Ho una Xbox One X solo con uscite hdmi e un Monitor Gaming Samsung U28E590 che ha 2 uscite hdmi e una display port.

    Da poco è uscito l'aggiornamento per sfruttare il freesync sulla Xbox.

    IL monitor mi fa attivare il Freesync solo tramite displayport.

    Come faccio a collegare la Xbox One X al monitor?

    Sebbene xbox sconsigli di farlo, l'unico modo per farlo funzionare correttamente con "display port" è utilizzare un adattatore "attivo" "HDMI" a "Display Port".
    In questo modo la console può comunicare con il monitor e ottenere informazioni sulla risoluzione e altre cose di cui ha bisogno.
    Dovr supportare HDMI 2.0 e Display Port 1.2 per un massimo di 4k a 60hz e Display Port 1.4 per 4k a 60hz o 10 bit a colori.

    Make sure also that the monitor supports, HDMI Displayport 2.0 as that what the Xbox One S and Xbox One X use, I believe that the standard Xbox One only uses HDMI Displayport 1.4,

    Its possible that the monitor only supports HDMI Displayport 1.4,

    Its possible that you're TV has HDMI Displayport 2.0, which could be the reason it works on the TV but not the monitor.

    I'm saying that HDMI to displayport adapters are pointless to use, and if you were to use one , you'll still only be getting 60hz.

    you want to connect the HDMI port of the Xbox console to a HDMI port on the monitor or TV for the best outcome,

    because the Xbox One X does not have a displayport on the console, you can't go displayport to displayport,

    so the only choice is HDMI to HDMI, i personally would not go HDMI from the console to displayport on the monitor via an HDMI to displayport adapter,

    when connecting to a monitor it's best to go straight...

    HDMI to HDMI

    or

    Displayport to Displayport

    never

    HDMI to Displayport via an adapter.

    Xbox one s 144hz

    Hi _wojdazeg_,

    The xbox One S will connect to a 1440p /120hz monitor. However bare in mind that most games on the Xbox are capped to between 30 & 60hz.

    Also your monitor would have to support 120hz/1440p over HDMI as the console does not have a displayport connector.
