    Connectivity issues between Bone Anchor Hearing Aids and an Xbox console.


    A deaf student of mine wears bone anchor conductor aids. He is a gamer who uses an Xbox. He likes to interact with other gamers but has connectivity issues between his BAHAs and the Xbox. Is there a simple solution to this issue to help him hear and speak to others while playing his games? Very greatful for an support with this matter.

    my best solution for you then would be to connect his Bluetooth to an audio receiver hooked up via HDMI to the Xbox and use a seperate mic plugged into the controller via 1/8” or otherwise certified for Xbox

    That should give him the best interface for audio quality.

    I think he has in the past but has then asked how to improve his Xbox listening experience, so it mustn't of suited him.

    His BAHAs have Bluetooth yes.

    I don’t think he has access but he would like to.

    He has a Phonak Roger Touchscreen mic, which his BAHAs do connect to which could be directly plugged into the console directly, but is still unable to converse with others using this method.

    I’m sorry, Xbox doesn’t support usb peripherals or Bluetooth

    Has he tried an ear covering headset? That might do the trick
