Connection problems

Hi , I'm not sure if I've picked the correct header types , but my description title should really be enough to get the general gist of the topic.

. I play Borderlands 2......... A lot ! . I play solo more often than not , but when my brother's online I play with him , or , I should say , I ' would ' play with him . But just lately we've been having connection problems. It's always been the case
where I've had him join my game but as I say , lately we're having problems. I send the invite, he receives it and then tries to join my game and everything at first seems to be working. Unfortunately though when he gets the ' connecting ' message and the
30 second timer , it just counts down to zero then says ' there was a connecting error with the host ' ( if it's not that exactly it's something very similar ). This was never previously an issue and we've been playing online games together for a couple of
years. It's massively frustrating, especially as my brother only has limited time to play, usually only an hour or two. Now more and more we're finding that we're spending this time doing things like doing master resets of our Xboxes and routers all to no
avail. And it's not just confined to Borderlands , tonight he was unable to join me , nor me to his game of Trackmania. As I've said, this was never an issue before but has been happening now on an almost nightly basis for the last month or so. Sometimes
it resolves itself after doing the resets etc. Sometimes it doesn't, the limited time is eaten up with all the messing about and we don't actually get ANY gametime at all. We haven't altered any settings on either of our Xboxes so I can't understand why it
started. It is hugely frustrating , can anybody shed any light as to why it's happening , is anybody else having the same/similar connecting problems ? Has anybody else had them and managed to resolve them ? Really , any help would be greatly appreciated.

Smartglass connection problems

Hello all,

I've searched the Internet and can't find a solution to my issue. I can't get Smartglass to connect to my console over my wi-fi network . I have the app installed on my Xoom and Razr. I have Smartglass enabled on my console. I can't connect using either device. Eventually, I get a message saying "Unable to locate my console". I can, however, connect with my phone over 4g. Is there a setting on my router that needs to be changed? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Connection problem - HELP

Hey guys,
So it's been about a year since I bought my Xbox 360 (newer generation), and my Xbox Live connection works 2 days out of 3. I use wireless connection. My Xbox is pretty far from my router, but when I connect to a network, my router shows up and there are usually around 4 bars. When I click on "test connection", this is where it tells me that the console is unable to connect.
Did anyone had this problem before?
